Complete Asset Registry
Granular Categorization: Effortlessly organize assets into categories such as small arms, heavy weaponry, non-lethal equipment (TASERS, batons), optics, and communication gear.
Consumable Tracking: Most systems forget the “small stuff.” We track ammunition by the box, case, or individual round, as well as magazines and accessory kits, ensuring you never run low during critical operations.
Weapon-Dependent Gear: Link specific accessories (like suppressors, specialized scopes, or tactical lights) to specific weapons. This ensures that when a weapon is issued, all its vital components are tracked as a single unit.
Visual Documentation: Each registry entry supports high-resolution photos and digital attachments (such as original manuals or purchase receipts) for instant visual identification and administrative clarity.
Full Life-Cycle History
- Birth Records: Document the moment an asset enters your inventory, including procurement source, manufacture date, and initial ballistic test results.
- Operational Logs: Automatically log every time a weapon is issued, returned, or transferred. Know exactly how many hours a weapon has been in the field and how many rounds have been fired.
- Maintenance & Inspection Trails: Maintain a permanent, unalterable log of every cleaning, repair, and safety inspection. If a malfunction occurs in the field, you can instantly pull the weapon’s maintenance history to identify patterns or technician accountability.
- End-of-Life Disposal: When a weapon reaches the end of its service life, the system manages the decommissioning process, ensuring that the destruction or sale of the asset is documented for regulatory compliance.
Unlimited Scalability
Multi-Site Synchronization: Manage multiple armories across different cities or countries from a single, centralized dashboard. Data syncs in real-time, so headquarters always has an accurate “bird’s-eye view” of global stock levels.
Unlimited User Tiers: Support an unlimited number of users with customizable permission levels. From the high-level Commander viewing global reports to the local Armorer managing daily issues and returns, everyone has the access they need—and nothing they don’t.
Cloud or On-Premise Deployment: We adapt to your security protocols. Deploy IoTWeaponTracker on a secure private cloud for global access or on a local, air-gapped server for maximum facility security.
Elastic Infrastructure: As your inventory grows from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of items, our database architecture remains lightning-fast, ensuring that search results and audit reports are generated in seconds.
Turn hours of checkout lines into minutes of automated processing.
Passive Precision: RFID & Barcode Based Armory Management
Rapid Issue & Return Workflows
RFID Windows & Doorways: Equip your issue windows or armory exits with fixed RFID antennas. As an officer walks through or places a weapon on the counter, the system automatically detects the tags and populates the transaction screen—no manual typing required.
USB Desktop Scanners: For smaller facilities, plug-and-play USB scanners allow armorers to quickly “tap” weapons or gear against a reader to confirm custody transfers.
Bulk Processing: Unlike barcodes, which require a direct line of sight, RFID can read multiple items simultaneously. Issue a weapon, three magazines, a holster, and a radio in one single motion.
Flexible Tagging Solutions
Mobile RFID Readers: Simply walk through the aisles of your armory or warehouse. The handheld scanner picks up signals from every tagged item within range, instantly cross-referencing them against the database.
Visual Audit Feedback: The handheld screen provides real-time color-coded feedback. A green light confirms an item is where it should be; a red alert notifies you of an item that is missing or shouldn’t be in that specific rack.
Offline Mode: For remote locations or secure bunkers with limited connectivity, our mobile scanners can store audit data locally and sync with the central IoTWeaponTracker database once reconnected.
Real-Time Security & Anti-Theft Alerts
Unauthorized Removal Alarms: If a weapon tagged in the system approaches an exit and hasn’t been officially “issued” to an officer, the system triggers a localized alarm, flashes warning lights, and sends an immediate SMS/Email notification to the Command Center.
Automated Gate/Door Interlock: For high-security zones, our software can integrate with physical security hardware to automatically lock electronic doors if an unauthorized asset is detected near the perimeter.
Pairing Technology: Ensure gear never leaves without the right person. The system can be configured to alert staff if a specific weapon is passing through a gate without its assigned officer.

IoTWeaponTracker Smart Storage Solutions
Smart Sidearm Lockers with Weight-Sensing Technology
Integrated Precision Scales: These lockers feature ultra-sensitive weight scales that detect the presence of the weapon and the magazine separately. The system verifies that a magazine has been removed and—crucially—detects if there are missing rounds based on weight variance.
Biometric Access: Each locker remains deadbolted until an officer authenticates via fingerprint, PIN, or ID card. The system only unlocks the specific door assigned to that officer.
RFID Interior Tracking: Internal RFID sensors automatically log the exact second a sidearm is removed or returned, updating the chain of custody without any manual input.
Smart Longarm Clamps
Automated Locking Clamps: High-strength metal clamps secure the weapon at the barrel. Upon successful officer authentication, the specific clamp for the assigned longarm releases.
Butt-Holder RFID & Weight Sensors: Similar to our lockers, the butt-holders include RFID technology to identify the specific weapon and weight scales to ensure the weapon is returned in the correct configuration (e.g., magazine removed).
Auto-Charging Ecosystem for GSM/GPS Tags
Authentication Options: Supports Fingerprint, ID Card, PIN, or even Smartphone Sync.
Guided Retrieval: Once an officer is authenticated, the system lights up the specific locker or clamp for their assigned gear. This prevents the accidental removal of the wrong weapon and drastically speeds up deployment during emergency “scramble” situations.
Real-Time Accountability, Geofencing, and Tactical Intelligence
Advanced GSM-GPS Tracking: Global Weapon Visibility
How the Global Tracking System Works
Dual-Mode Technology: High-sensitivity GPS modules communicate with satellites to determine exact coordinates, while GSM (cellular) connectivity transmits that data to the IoTWeaponTracker command center in real-time.
Discreet Integration: Sensors are designed to fit inside long-gun grips, buttstocks, or as “magazine extensions.” They appear as natural components of the weapon, ensuring that “bad actors” do not realize the asset is being tracked.
Real-Time Transmission: Location data, movement velocity, and situational alerts are transmitted instantly, allowing for rapid response coordination.
Tactical Alert Management
Shots Fired Alert: Instantly detects the acoustic signature or recoil pattern of a discharge, updating the map with a “Shots Fired” icon at the exact GPS coordinate.
Officer-Separation Alarm: If a weapon moves beyond a predetermined distance from its assigned officer (as detected by their body-worn tag), the system triggers a “Lost/Stolen” alert.
Tag Tampering: Any attempt to remove or disable the tracking tag sends an immediate distress signal to the control room.
Weapon Disarming: In extreme cases where a weapon is unaccounted for or stolen, the tag can interface with compatible digital safety systems to remotely disable the firearm.
Advanced Geo-Fencing
Authorized Zones: Define safe zones such as armories, firing ranges, or patrol sectors.
Breach Alerts: If a weapon enters a “Prohibited Zone” or exits an “Authorized Zone” without prior scheduling, the system triggers automated software alerts, SMS, and email notifications to command staff.
Response Coordination: The software identifies other officers and vehicles in the immediate proximity of a breach, facilitating the fastest possible intercept.
IoTWeaponTracker is your 360˚ Weapons, Gear and Ammo Command Center
IoTWeaponTracker is a weapon management system that is available out-of-the-box with all of the capabilities developed for prior clients. It can be rapidly configured for each new client’s exacting data, tracking, workflow, security, and reporting requirements.
Advanced Officer Authentication & Compliance
The transition of a weapon is a critical security moment. IoTWeaponTracker automates the validation process to ensure that no weapon leaves the armory unless the receiver is authorized and qualified.
Multi-Factor Identification: Authenticate personnel using fingerprint scanners, iris recognition, facial recognition, secure PINs, or ID cards.
The “OK TO ARM” Protocol: The system performs an instantaneous lookup of firearm certifications. If an officer’s certification has expired or their status is set to “DO NOT ARM,” the software hard-blocks the transaction.
Electronic Chain of Custody: Validate transfers with electronic signature pads or PINs, creating a legally defensible audit trail of every custody change.
Maintenance, Inspections, and Compliance
A weapon that isn’t maintained is a liability. IoTWeaponTracker ensures your inventory is always deployment-ready by automating the “busy work” of maintenance scheduling.
Automated Task Monitoring: The system monitors due dates for cleanings, test-firings, and routine inspections, sending proactive reminders to armorers before tasks become overdue.
Repair Event Tracking: Capture the full narrative of a repair—which officer deposited the weapon, the technician who performed the work, the specific parts used, and the total downtime.
Deployment Compliance: Ensure that every piece of gear assigned to the field meets the latest safety and performance standards.
Intelligent Inventory Auditing
Traditional manual inventories can take hours. With IoTWeaponTracker, a full armory audit can be completed in minutes using mobile RFID or barcode scanners.
The “Smart Audit” Interface: As you scan the armory, the system compares the physical items found against the digital record.
Three-Tier Reporting:
Expected & Found: Items accounted for and in their correct location.
Expected & Not Found: Missing items that require immediate investigation.
Unexpected & Found: Misplaced items or gear that should be in a different facility.
Mobile Flexibility: Utilize tablets or laptops mounted on rolling carts to move through large warehouses and armories with ease.
